Q. What is the ProComp 3.5 Committee?
A. The ProComp 3.5 Committee (originally - the Student Services Committee) addresses section 3.5 of the ProComp Agreement which states “All positions in the Bargaining Unit Shall Be Effectively Integrated into the Professional Compensation Systems for Teachers.” The committee’s role is to ensure that ProComp systems function correctly and fairly for every person represented by DCTA, including those whose roles are outside of the classroom or are unrelated to instruction. The committee convenes work groups from each of the disciplines and other groups as needed.
